Anyone who has read our packing list for a backpacking trip around Europe or our article on the best travel underwear already knows how much we like carrying nice underwear.
The ExOfficio Give-N-Go line of travel underwear is without a doubt the most well-liked brand.
I wanted to share with you all my own experience as to why ExOfficio underwear has become so popular with travellers.
Although I focus on the 1Give-N-Go boxer briefs in my review, ExOfficio offers a variety of styles for both men and women.
ExOfficio underwear may be worn outside of the home. It's excellent for regular usage as well as exercise. Many individuals claim that this underwear is the greatest and that they will never wear anything else.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- I have the impression of wearing nothing at all:
They stretch well and are incredibly light and breathable. They don't feel constrictive at all, and I forget I'm wearing them.
- Long-lasting:
These should last a lot longer than regular underwear because of the high quality of the construction.
- Dries rapidly:
As a whole, the Exofficios dry out quickly. After a long, tiring day of activity, they won't be unpleasant damp.
Cons
Kind of tacky waistband print: I know it's a matter of preference, but I would want the waistband to be a simple solid colour without the word "EX-OFFICIO" written all over it. It makes me think of underwear from companies like Express, Armani Exchange, and similar ones.
Recall how I said the Exofficios dry out quickly. The Exofficios' inability to absorb substances is both a blessing and a misfortune.
At its San Clemente offices, Stance reported a 356% growth in staff from the previous year, totalling 114 people.
On the list of the 51 Biggest Based in Orange County Apparel Businesses published by the Orange County Business Journal, Stance came in at number 24.
The corporation has many rounds of layoffs between 2017 and 2020. With its homage to artist Gucci Mane, the company took up the Best Socks of the Year award in 2017.
Due to outside disturbances and poor money management, the business regrettably saw the first of many layoffs early in the same year.

Know your preferences. Although I wanted to enjoy them, I can't seem to make them work. I purchased the medium in gray, which, at 6'1" and 171 pounds, I believe is the correct size for me.
Stretch trunks made of 95/5 cotton and spandex have been covering my legs. They appeal to me more. The ExO's don't provide me with the additional help I need when I need it.
The elasticized trunks are. They precisely cinch up around me. Where I need help, the ex-partners are loose. I can cover a lot of ground in the trunks, but I wouldn't want to sprint far in the ExOs.
Additionally, the trunks are silky and slick. I had no idea how much I enjoyed it. Contrastingly, the ExO's have a coarser texture, and when I work while seated at my desk, I can feel the difference.
The ExO's are warmer while the trunks are colder. Both make me perspire equally, but I prefer the cotton's cold absorbency for some reason.
I ordered the ExO's since I'll be going abroad in the summer and I'd want to pack lighter and use less underwear. My trunks take longer to wash and dry than the ExOs. I purchased them for that reason. But to me, the trade-offs don't make sense. Know what you enjoy once more.

I purchased the black and charcoal, and I adore how they feel! They fit perfectly, too! But the cloth tends to snag easily, which is a great shame.
When I came home to change approximately six hours later, there were a few hiccups with the pair of these that I was wearing below my pants.
Nothing too serious, but I'm concerned that the fact that I only wore them for six hours while wearing jeans is to blame for these hiccups.

You might say that when I learned about the ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer Briefs, my life was forever altered. I bought a pair since I had heard wonderful things about them before my epic trip to Asia that launched my blogging career.
The ExOfficio immediately established itself as the greatest underwear in my rucksack for three months, and since then I've pretty much gotten rid of all the other underwear in my wardrobe.
"You'll only ever need one," was their slogan when they first began, and I have to admit that it holds true.
Company Reviews
There are numerous colour options for these ExOfficio boxers. We've been trying two of the darker variants, Black and Charcoal, in typical Pack Hacker fashion, but if you're more of a neon person, you'll enjoy their colour options as well.
Their branding is also not particularly unique. The ExOfficio logo may be seen on the bottom of one leg and around the waistline (like most boxers).
The2bottom logo, sadly, is said to have a short lifespan and will start to disappear after a few months.
Although ours has so far only experienced little wear, we'll make sure to monitor it and revise the usage schedule down below as needed.
My Experience with EXOfficio Underwear
I want to share with you all my personal experience as to why travellers are so drawn to ExOfficio underwear.
I was a little worried about the quality of the thin fabric at that time since it was the first time I had worn them and I had spent the previous nine or so hours doing nothing but sitting at a computer.
However, the middle of the back waistband on all three of my pairs started to fray and fuzz. a circle with a diameter of 4 inches.
I've worn each pair approximately three times, and they all have the same problem in the same place.
Perhaps my excessive perspiration or the peculiar way I sit is to blame, but at $20 or more each, I doubt I'll be purchasing any more when they start to wear out after only one usage.
Although they feel nice and indeed drain sweat, my first thought was, "Wow that's a thin fabric," which was quickly followed by obvious wear on many pairs.
If this isn't just a fluke and they hold up over time, I'll update this, but until they last another month or two, I won't purchase another pair.
Conclusion
The Exofficios are perfect if you're looking for activewear. They are not, however, fit for every event.
I've been wearing Mack Weldons for casual wear, which is likewise extremely well constructed, more absorbent, and better at keeping moisture off my crotch (Amazon doesn't currently stock them).
