    How do I calculate my pregnancy?

    It will be the first day of your last period, pregnancies last for a duration of 40 weeks from the time you conceived, the best way to calculate your due date is to count 280days of 40 weeks from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).

    Also, another option to calculate your due date is to minus 3 months from the first day of your last period and add 7 days. For instance, if your last period started on May 11, you will count back 3 months to February 11 and add seven days, which means your due date would be  February 18.

    Take note, it's completely normal if you deliver your baby a week or two before or after.

    How can I count my menstrual cycle?

    Pregnancy tests check for the presence of HCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) in your urine. Your body we start producing this (HGC) after you get pregnant.

    If your result is positive on the first day you missed your last period it means you are two weeks pregnant. You can use this pregnancy due date calculator above to calculate when your baby is due.

    You can do more tests to confirm that you are pregnant from as early as around 8 days after conception. Some pregnancy tests might give a clue of when you might conceive based on HCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) in your urine
