Recipes for egusi soup and pounded yam are both staples of Nigerian cooking that come from the Kano area.

The meal combines diced yams with eggplant that has been mashed into a paste and then shaped into a solid block that is about one to two inches in size. The dish is sometimes topped with ground peanuts.

The yam is crushed, which gives it a rich black colour and a nutty, earthy, nutty taste.

A classic Nigerian dish called egusi soup is created with chicken and fish. It may be consumed before or with “Jombo” bread.

Typically, the soup is served with bread dipped in sesame or peanut oil. Egusi soup is made with vegetables, fish, and chicken as its main components.

You must combine the appropriate components if you want to create a tasty and nutritious egusi soup.

Fortunately, finding the ideal mixture of elements is not difficult at all. The egg yolk is the main component. In addition to being nutrient-rich in minerals, eggs also include a significant quantity of protein, which is what your body needs in order to create muscle.

Additionally, tomatoes and onions may be used to make a delectable soup.
