    • ½ pint of fresh blueberries
    • 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry (thawed but still cold)
    • 6 oz of mascarpone cheese
    • ¼ cup of granulated sugar
    • ½ of a lemon zest

    For the Glaze

    • ½ cup of powdered sugar
    • ½ of a lemon juice

     

    Complete Directions for Making the Recipe

    • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • In a small bowl, mix together the cheese, sugar, and lemon zest. Set the mixture aside.
    • Roll out the puff pastry into a large rectangle on a piece of parchment paper.
    • Imagine the pastry divided into three equal parts lengthwise, and spread the cheese mixture down the center portion of the pastry.
    • Sprinkle the blueberries over the cheese.
    • Using a pastry wheel, pizza cutter, or knife, trim off the bottom corners of the pastry.
    • Cut about 10 strips at an angle on both sides of the pastry (or the desired number, ensuring an equal amount on each side).
    • Fold the top end of the pastry onto the center, then start braiding the strips by placing them on the cheese, alternating sides.
