Cocokind and Pregnancy is it really safe for pregnant women? Few things are more important than the health of a mother and her unborn child, which is why pregnant women must be particularly careful about what products they use on their skin and in their bodies during pregnancy.

Therefore an expecting mom who’s interested in using natural skin care products but isn’t sure if it’s safe to do so while pregnant has a very valid concern which is quite understandable hence the need to review such products.

All-natural skincare brand Cocokind recently released a new product, one that promises to be beneficial not only for pregnant women but also for those with acne-prone skin, eczema, and psoriasis.

Naturally, I had to put this cream to the test, so I tried it on my pregnant sister in the final weeks of her pregnancy and asked her to report back to me after she gave birth about whether or not she experienced any discomfort in her abdomen or any other side effects from using the product. Here’s what she had to say…

    What is CocoKind?

CocoKind is a company based in South Africa that manufactures skin care products from coconuts.

These products have natural active ingredients that are good for pregnant women, babies, and new moms—that is, according to CocoKind’s website.

But does using these natural ingredients pose a health risk to women who are expecting or breastfeeding?

This isn’t clear. In addition to answering whether using CocoKind is safe during pregnancy or nursing, it’s also important to look at what an expectant mom would actually be getting from CocoKind products specifically, oils derived from coconuts that include capric acid and lauric acid.

    Why Use CocoKind During Pregnancy?

CocoKind products are made with natural ingredients and provide gentle, highly effective skincare while pregnant.

In fact, they’re safe to use throughout pregnancy. The study that led to its creation was based on a clinical trial by independent researchers in Switzerland.

It revealed that there were no side effects in using CocoKind during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

    Why Use CocoKind During Pregnancy?

CocoKind is a natural skin care product that incorporates coconut oil, rosehip oil, beeswax, shea butter, sunflower oil, and vitamin E.

It is fragrance-free and safe to use on your face, neck, hands, or any other part of your body.

The coconut oil in CocoKind promotes healthy skin cell growth while preventing wrinkles.

The company claims that you can use it on all parts of your body, without worrying about negative effects on pregnancy because it is made with non-toxic ingredients.

What do Cocokind and Pregnancy really do?

As far as pregnancy goes though coco kind you should be careful as some of their products might have other chemicals besides what they claim so beware of that when buying anything from them!

Are there any cautions while using CocoKind during pregnancy?

CocoKind contains essential fatty acids that are perfect for growing a healthy baby; however, we do advise pregnant women to consult with their doctors before using CocoKind.

That said, there haven’t been any reported cautions during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

As long as you’re also eating a diet rich in Omega-3s while pregnant, you can use CocoKind and maintain a safe pregnancy and have great-looking skin.

Keep in mind that not all Omega-3 products are created equal. Be sure to look for a product like CocoKind that uses pharmaceutical-grade ingredients free of additives and preservatives, such as coloring agents and chemical stabilizers (like Ethoxylated alcohol).

Also, look for products that contain only natural fragrances derived from essential oils.

If you don’t find these things on your skin care product’s label, it’s probably not going to be effective at delivering its promised results or be safe during pregnancy.

Cocokind is 100% pure and natural – our products do not contain any harsh chemicals, artificial colors, or preservatives (such as parabens) that may cause irritation on sensitive skin types.

The CocoKind lineup is designed specifically for pregnant women?

The CocoKind line of products is specifically formulated to provide optimal skin care without putting you or your baby at risk.

The natural ingredients are safe for both you and your baby, even after application.

Studies have shown that many commonly used skincare products contain chemicals that may be harmful to pregnant women because they pass through to their unborn child.

CocoKind products were designed with you in mind – feel free to use them while pregnant!

It’s important to note that any topical product applied during pregnancy should not go near a woman’s abdomen (belly) or breasts due to absorption concerns.

It’s also best not to apply any topical product on your face if you’re pregnant unless it’s been tested by a dermatologist on pregnant women.

Also, keep in mind that certain medications can cause sensitivity during pregnancy, so always consult your doctor before trying anything new!

However, since all of our CocoKind products are natural and organic, we believe they’re completely safe for pregnant women.

But is using a natural product really safer than using pharmaceuticals?

The good news is that you can consider Cocokind as an option if you are trying to avoid unnatural chemicals in your lifestyle – a truly all-natural product, both from ingredients (unlike many other natural products) and manufacturing.

They use 100% organic, unrefined coconut oil with food-grade preservatives. You will not find any harsh chemicals or additives in their products!

    Where to buy CocoKind online

    Cocokind And Pregnancy

You can buy Cocokind at Konga or Jumia if you are a Nigerian, or on Amazon worldwide.

When it comes to safe pregnancy skin care, most of us don’t want to go with anything but safe.

Many pregnant women are interested in natural products like CocoKind but aren’t sure what kind of effect such a product could have on their pregnancy.

My Conclusion on the use CocoKind during Pregnancy

CocoKind doesn’t use any animal products or ingredients either. And in case you were wondering about caffeine, yes the product does contain natural caffeine from cocoa powder.

But when we talk about CocoKind not using anything artificial or unnatural – we mean it! It really is just coconuts!

Coconuts are used to make lauric acid for our conditioners and shampoos. Coconuts are used to create milk proteins in our body wash.

Coconuts are even used as an emulsifier in one of our moisturizers! In short, there’s nothing artificial about CocoKind at all.

Even better, every single ingredient is sourced sustainably. To learn more about how we source all of our ingredients click here.
