    While trying to get healthy can be a straightforward process, it's not always an easy thing to do. After all, if it were so easy, more people would be leading healthier lives.

    The fact is that exercise can be a stressful endeavor, and poor handling and management of exercise can lead to people quitting before they can get anything meaningful out of it.

    This particular study shows the many different aspects and motives for exercise participation, with quite a few things factoring into what motivates people to exercise. While it shows that exercise is not as straightforward as it seems, there’s no need to fret.

    There are fun fitness apps you can use

    There are many different apps dedicated to jogging and running, merging all the best parts of a game and exercise to create something special. For example, the game Zombies, Run involves being a part of a zombie apocalypse storyline. The game tracks your steps and immerses you into various missions as you try to outrun the horde.

    There are all sorts of apps that try to merge fitness and fun – all you have to do is give one of them a try. Transforming a simple jog into a full-blown adventure is something that not many people have experienced before.

    Always ease into the exercise

    One way to help make fitness and exercise more fun is to ensure that you aren’t overdoing it. If you don’t have too much experience with more intense workouts, it’s often best to start things slow. Even if you feel like you can push things further, the crucial thing is to be consistent.

    For example, there are plenty of shadow boxing videos on streaming websites such as YouTube. It can seem easy at first, but if you try to follow shadow boxing routines that go on for more than fifteen minutes, it might end up being too much for first-timers. The crucial thing is to take your time and ensure that you work on consistency rather than intensity.
