Winter brings about so many amazing moments! Snow, cozy fireplaces, time in the kitchen, hot cocoa with your family, and maybe even building snow people! But it also brings about dry skin, chapped lips, sicknesses, and even joint stiffness in the cold. How can you battle all those on your own? Don’t worry, we are here to help you take care of yours, that way you can make only happy, well-moisturized memories this Winter. Let’s get to it, that way your skin isn’t suffering any longer!

    1. Hydrating Mask

If you want ultimate moisture while you sleep, the Moisturizing Moon Mask by Glossier will help you to hydrate your skin as you lay down. It is made with sweet almond oil, hyaluronic acid, and plant-based squalene to boost hydration to a new level! It will also help to reduce the fine lines that dehydrated skin creates. Its other ingredients are honey and aloe to soothe your dry skin, and licorice root and lemon fruit extract to brighten and even your complexion. It seems to us that there is nothing that this mask can’t do!

    2. Drink More Water

Dehydration can seriously impact your skin, so it is vital during the Winter (and all year really) to make sure that you are remaining hydrated as best as you can. A great way to make sure you are drinking more water is to get a bottle that helps you to track your consumption. If you see time markers that will help you to drink when necessary. It won’t overload you with too much water if you stay on track, so don’t worry about bloating. It is only if you get behind and try to catch up that you will feel any sort of adverse feelings. You will be able to hydrate throughout the day like never before!

5 Tips For Healthy Winter Skin

    3. Nighttime Serums

Objective Wellness’ bakuchiol serum, Dream Skin, is a great addition to your skincare routine year-round, but especially during the dry, cracking Winter season. It does more than just moisturize, so don’t skip this step. It is made from bakuchiol which is a retinol alternative. That means it will refresh, renew, and rejuvenate your skin all while you rest and sleep at night. It also has lavender in it which will help lull you to sleep! While you sleep, it will get to work to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. And you will wake up looking well-rested and refreshed! All of these amazing benefits may make us too excited to sleep!

    4. Lip Mask

Part of maintaining your healthy Winter skin is taking care of your lips! Homemade lip masks will take them from chapped to luscious after just one mask. You can even use ingredients that you most likely already have at home. Common ingredients are sugar, honey, oils, avocado, cucumber, and so many more! You just have to pick a recipe that fits the nourishment your lips need. Once you make it, you will apply it, let it sit, and then wipe it off to reveal fresh, smooth, kissable lips! This one is a no-brainer when it comes to if you should do it or not. Who doesn’t want soft lips?!

    5. Humidifier

A Honeywell humidifier will keep the moisture in the air, that way your skin doesn’t get too dry and cracked. It also helps to keep your nose, throat, and lips well-nourished and moisturized. It will boost your immune system and keep you healthier during the winter months, as it helps to ease symptoms of the flu and common cold. There are quite a few different humidifiers, so it will benefit you to find the one that works best for you. Whether it be size, function, or design, you want one that will be perfect for you and your space.

Even if you only use one of our tips, we hope that it helps you on your healthy Winter skin journey! Don’t forget that even the smallest step will help you reach peak healthy skin!
