You will know the efficacy of this antihistamine, how it works, the right dosage to follow, and what drugs it interacts with.

    What are Texa Pills?

Texa pills is the name given to a medication used to treat the symptoms of allergies which may include running nose, watery eyes, incessant sneezing, and many other reactions it can cause. Texa pills or Texa Allergy medication, if you will, contains cetirizine hydrochloride, a blocker of histamine in the body, consequently helping to control inflammation, watery eyes, sneezing, and running nose. It can be used orally used.

Although Texa pills is available over the counter, it is not advisable to use it without first discussing with your doctor. This is essential as it is dangerous to use Texa pills when an individual is suffering from some medical conditions, such as epilepsy or unhealthy bladder or kidney.

    How Does Texa Pills Work?

Like most antihistamine meant to treat allergies, Texa Pills function by blocking the binding of histamines to H1 receptors, making it a H1-antihistamine. When an individual comes in contact with an allergen, the antibodies begin to fight this reactant and trigger the production of histamine from the mast cells of the surrounding tissues to allow the permeability of the tissue and easy migration of the antibodies to deal with the foreign pathogen.

However, it also causes inflammation of the skin and other allergy symptoms as a result of the wrestle between the antibodies and the foreign pathogen. Therefore, an antihistamine does not stop the production of histamine, it stops the binding of histamine to the H1 receptor, which usually increases the latter’s efficiency in recruiting antibodies to the desired location.

Texa pills is classified as an H1 antihistamine because it stops the H1 receptor from allowing histamine bind to it, and consequently hinders the further recruitment of antibodies to fight the foreign material. This helps to reduce the symptoms of allergy as there are less antibodies recruited for this action. Also, Texa pills, as an H1 antihistamine is specifically treats allergies that range from running nose, to sneezing, and itching. It may also be used to treat motion sickness and insomnia, as it causes drowsiness.
