    Nowadays the number of people who can easily fall asleep once they touch the pillow is decreasing, and more and more people have issues falling asleep, even after a long and busy day. The struggle to drift off can be a daunting task, but thanks to modern technology we have plenty of options to help us improve our sleeping habits, like blackout blinds.

    Upgrading the mattress or pillow, and investing in sleeping gadgets are just some of the helping hands we need to encourage a night of better sleep.

    Below we’ll mention a few tech trends associated with improving the way we sleep.

    Sleep technology has changed the way we think about sleep. Companies are working on improving the comfortability and helping people suffering from health problems. There are more people experiencing neck and back pain or other health issues including snoring, sleep apnea, and many more.

Noise-canceling headphones are sometimes a good idea, but they might not be as comfortable for those who don’t sleep on their back. The smart earbuds don’t play any music but have preloaded sleep sounds that will help you fall asleep easier.

    They have a long battery life, up to 10 hours when fully charged, and the best part is they will stay in place even if you move around. If you’re a stomach-sleeper or side-sleeper, smart earbuds are just what you need to avoid listening to noises such as the TV, loud neighbors, or snoring. They can sync with your smartwatch as well as your smartphone, PC, and some smart home systems.

    Sleep machine

    Many sleep gadgets on the market can help people who have trouble falling and staying asleep. Medical devices that use gradual and fading light to encourage regular sleep patterns or gadgets that help you meditate although you lack the patience to properly commit to it. For those that often lie in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, desperately trying to fall asleep, sleep machines may help get your sleep back on track.

    For example, there’s a popular sleep machine called Dodow, designed to naturally guide you into sleep, and encourage deep breathing techniques to help you unwind, promoting better sleep. Some people describe this wireless device as a wheel of brie that projects a gentle beam of blue light which contracts and expands for 8 minutes.     Air quality

    Breathing fresh air makes sleeping a lot easier, and placing an air purifier in your room can be just what you need to help you sleep better. The sound that the air purifier makes depends on the settings. For example, if it has higher settings it can produce a pleasant white noise that can also contribute to better sleep.

    An air quality monitor can measure not only the air quality but also the temperature, noise, and humidity. Some air quality gadgets build a personalized profile letting you know whether it’s happy with the current state and giving suggestions on how to improve it.
