Lavender Bath Salts  Ingredients

  • 2 cups Epsom salt
  • 1/2 cup Himalayan pink sea salt medium or course grind
  • 20 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 15 drops Mandarin (or Orange) essential oil
  • 1/4 cup dried lavender optional

Instructions on how to use Lavender Bath Salts.

  1. In a bowl, combine salts.
  2. Add drops of essential oils. Massage in with your hands.
  3. Toss in dried lavender.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container until ready to use.
  5. When ready to use, drop a handful into a hot bath directly under a faucet to dissolve.

Sleep Lavender Bath Salts Uses

  1. Relaxing Bath – Pour a large handful into a running bath for a relaxing soak.
  2. Therapy Bath – Pour two large handfuls into the bath and soak for 20 minutes.
  3. Kids Bath – Add one small handful into the bath.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Epsom Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Baking Soda
  • 3 drops Jasmine Essential Oil ~ or add a few extra drops for a stronger scent.
  • Wide Mouth Half Pint Mason Jar
  • Optional: 1 – 2 drops of Food Coloring {to slightly tint the bath salts} ~ I used just 1 drop of red, to give the bath salts a slight hint of pink tint, or use 2 drops for a darker tint.
  • Ribbon or Twine

Directions:

  • Mix together Epsom Salt, Baking Soda, Essential Oil Drops, and optional Food Coloring.  Stir well.
  • Transfer to a jar, and tie a bow with a pretty ribbon or some twine.
  • This is so quick to put together, and makes a fabulous homemade gift!
  • If pampering yourself… add approx. 1/2 cup of bath salts to your bath.  Relax and ENJOY!!
